roland midi keybard (pc180a)
midi-attached to a TASCAM us-122
a simple setup.
problem:
when i "hyperscribe" to the metronome I cant hear what i play. I only hear the notes afterwards when I hit play.
Other note entry techniques work fine. I hear the notes fine when I click them in pllace with the mouse for example.
so i think there's something not right in the way finale thinks that "hey, i'm receiving midi notes, I should play them on my softsynth" or something.
???
But I can't find he place to look and fix this. Everything look fine in the midi setting
midi in > tascam us122
midi out > smartmusic softsynth
Any suggestions to where I can look at things I can try would be greatly appreciated
