Might be why I still love 1.2 version, the kiddish look henders my creativity. don't get me wrong - it's a strong app, but the look makes me feel like I'm approaching new songs with the same modus operandi.

SYSEX support. Features that would make Midi-OX and Midi-Yoke obsolete. A real sampler, like a co-branded Sampletank would be really good. Sustain pedal support. A skin that makes the mixer controls use the screen space more effectively. I'd like it to be much easier to use FLS with external synths and controllers, not just VST's.

Er, *how* did you get it to send SYSEX? According to Gol, FLS does *not* support SYSEX messages at all. It just drops them on the floor.

Oh boy, you got me started. What I'd like to see in FL:

- Custom Skins
- Having more than just the 3xOsc and Sampler having the INS settings
- A better slicer
- Random-Sample support for FPC
- Envelope Controller
- A way to convert Automation Clips to Automation Patterns and vice versa
- A Playlist that shows some of the content of the pattern (think Acid)
- Drag-And-Drop in the mixer
- Integrated utility for analysis (a la Inspector)
- Some decent front-end GUIs for the old effects (blood overdrive, compressor, chorus, etc)
- Easier copy-paste of patterns
- Multiband compressor
- Sidestep compressor
- Multilevel compressor (starting to see a pattern? )
- Horizontal zoom of playlist
- Easier merging/splitting of patterns
- Draw custom waveforms for use in 3xOsc, Sampler

Although I gotta say, FL is still the best out there. I'm toying with ReWire to see if I can use the good stuff from FL with the good stuf from other apps (Reason, Acid) to produce one super package
