Thank you, Christian!
This is a great eq, first time I can actually boost low frequencies on the computer.

This EQ has amazing subtlety. I find I can boost the highs considerably without harshness. Very nice work!

I just tried this myself after reading the raves here for a few weeks.
This is really a fantastic plugin. Probably the best free plugin I have seen to date. The controls are intuitive, the sound is great, and it is useful everywhere. I'd be willing to pay money for a "pro" version of this plugin.
One thing that would be extremely useful is to have a "match loudness" feature or some such, so it is easier to compare EQ on or off. This is one thing I really like about Har-bal - its just so much easier to compare things when the loudness levels are similar.
Excellent work!
Cheers,
Randy

We're currently working on a PRO version, which is even more 'super-duper-triple-duper-extra-fantasto-3001-XL', but unfortunatly commercial.
It will be in the range of 70€ with an introduction price of about 50€ for the first week.
Its benefits are: more stable, better support, more presets and finally a unique psycho-acoustical spectrum analyser (TM).
It will be released in about two weeks and we're currently in the betatest phase.
We are still looking for some betatester. PM me for further details.
Anyway the features will be nearly identical to the posihfopit version, but everything more sophisticated. Btw. there will also be a similar betabugs product soon. This will probably even more super-duper... but such a good thing will take some more time (approx. until 2006).
Regards,
Christian
P.S.: A new posihfopit version will be released in about one week.

why unfortunatly? u deserve it.CWBudde wrote:... but unfortunatly commercial.
having the free version available with all the updates and new features you've been adding, is actually a pretty cool way of making peeps buy your stuff. i don't necessarily guarantee that it attracts more people to buy, but it definitely locks up a nice group of buyers to spend on the new commercial version.

I just tried your plugin with Wavelab5.CWBudde wrote:I found a possible bug and fixed it. Not sure if it helps, but at least one bug lessfritzman wrote:no problem. Nuendo2 is basically the same as Cubase SX2. If you have that maybe?
Additionally there is now one more mode 'screaming'. It's not that screaming, and maybe i'll make it even more screamy, but for the moment i'm fine with it.

Good night,
Christian
Moving the controls causes spikes of total CPU overshot and audio dropouts. Adjusting and automation nearly impossible without scattering.
[edit]
The same happens in VSTHost. Even if no audio is proceeded at all the CPU spikes like crazy. There is obviously something wrong with the GUI code. That don't happen with any other plugins on my machine (Windows 2000, AMD Duron, NVidia GForce2).

Great. The price point seems very reasonable.CWBudde wrote: We're currently working on a PRO version, which is even more 'super-duper-triple-duper-extra-fantasto-3001-XL', but unfortunatly commercial.

One feature that would be fantastic, now that you are adding a spectrum analyzer, would be some basic ability to average and capture the spectrum over time and then easily adjust the EQ parameters with respect to a reference curve to somewhat match spectrums. I don't believe in total automated spectrum matching, but if you look at what Har-bal does you may find some inspiration there.
Cheers,
Randy

Have you checked the display update menu? You can set it from direct draw to fast, medium or slow. Usually direct draw works fine, except in some hosts in combination with settings/hardware (Wavelab is one of them). I like everything fast. In my self written test host environment everything works more than fine.;-) wrote:I just tried your plugin with Wavelab5.
