Traktor DJ Studio 2.6

i use final scratch2 and traktor to play all my live dj gigs now...having converted all my vinyl to wavs n mp3s i have started buying my music through beatport and djdownload....there was one track i really wanted that i had to buy direct from a record label...this tune has some sort of DRM on an mp3 and although winamp can play the file...traktor cannot....is there some way to unlock this file? i bought the tune so i would think i should be able to play with it...i mean it was from a dj specific source and i know that i coulda bought the same tune on vinyl so i'm really confused here...none of the other dj tracks i've bought have had this problem...

Sorry to hear about the trouble.
Your best bet might be to record the output of winamp to a wav of some sort, then compress it back to a "normal" mp3. Winamp even has a menu for burning audio CDs, if I remember correctly.

What do you think ?
Of course, do keep your legally owned mp3 aside, as a proof of your purchase

nice try bro...but the lock on the files wouldn't let me burn to a cd with winamp or nero...anyways i sorted the problem out...i finally got off my butt and sent a letter complaining to the website...and like 10 mins later i got an email from a dude apologizing and they sent me unlocked versions so that i can dj with 'em now!...amazing
