Greetings.
This is Sam. I've come to spread the word that there's an online petition regarding the future of SoundDiver, a program I'm sure many of you are familiar with. Just read the page and if this sounds like something that rrrrrrrrrrrrrr you are willing to support, then jump on the boat. The SoundDiver boat.
http://www.petitiononline.com/soundDVR/petition.html
Also, if you so choose to sign the petition, we highly recommend that you also drop Apple a line at the address below.

It's preferable if you mention "SoundDiver" in the subject and choose the "Feature Request" as an option.
It's time to treat your hardware with respect.

doesn't do much for the pc crowd....
i always thought hardware should come with edit/library software, i think yamaha and others do it...i could never get SD to work well with my old MicroWave II, that's why i dumped it...
it does seem like they could add that feature for you mac guys though....
good luck,
rg

I'm only familiar with Sounddiver as software that would supposedly solve all my problems with my hardware synths, but has never been available.

sound diver sux imo, I have had nothing but trouble with sound diver for my POD and for my QSR...
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Sound Diver is hard to figure out and kind of buggy acting. But I have to admit, SD is a godsend for my Yamaha S80. Trying to tweak the S80 without it is a b!tch.

ya know, i'm holding back...i got SD for my MW2 and for my Kawai XD5 drum module...couldn't get either to work, buggy as all get out..they admitted to me on the phone that the editor for XD5 was ported from the K1 synth and never properly tested...Hink wrote:sound diver sux imo, I have had nothing but trouble with sound diver for my POD and for my QSR...
after not messing with it for years, i fired up my old Opcode Galaxy Editors app (this is on my old mac centris 650 RIP), i was editing and storing patches on my DX100 and CZ1000 in minutes...i gave up on the SD app after that...
i never liked Logic at all, i know some of you swear by it, i only swore at it....never, never again...
