Post

Ckick on the instrument channel and look at the FL wrapper - the additional one with the keyboard. On the top panel is pitch. Right click on it and assign automation - eith via external control or via automation clips.

In version 5.0, automation is in its own track. It's cool enough to be a good reason to go for the upgrade, which is free anyway, so why are you running 4.5?

hi, you can do it in several ways, in your VST you could have a Pitch control(built-in). if the vst has it, check the fruity browser and look in current project, then search the vst wrapper, the name of the control should appear there. you can link it to a controller from that list. If the VST does not support pitch bending originally, check that channel settings of the VST, and link the pitch bend control of fruity(the channel one). just leftclick it and link to controller, then press the controller on your keyboard/hardware... and presto!

If you want to automate it with the new automating clips its the same, just select create autoclip instead of link to controller. Thought, I prefer real time automating for pitch or modulation(as I play notes automating the old way).

hi kel, I guess you missed that he is using 4.5 which did not have the cool automation clips, you need 5.0 for that...;)

James, it could be he bought a boxed version and used his one free update...;)
