... as long as I'm posting lunatic, unreal fantasy images
here's one I worked up as our project logo (to maybe help keep us inspired a bit...)

People Please help us make mn's offer a success -- just a few more pre-orders are all we need!!

Ok, I think I've got my PayPal issues figured out. I had to wait for my wife to buy all her school books and sell the rest. We were trying to use what was there wisely. I should get my pre-order in within a few.
I now work for a radio station, but since I am just starting, and it's a Christian station, it may not be a good idea to take advantage of that. I kind of have been waiting for this job and don't want to screw it up.
However, I think things are coming along nicely. We need to start sending PM's to people who's songs are still pending that don't post here often to let us know what's going on. Some of them may have forgotten and may not be giving songs. But we definately need to finalize the tracks. Maybe close new song submissions? Only those who have stated they will give a song can do so now? I only say this because we could end up waiting for "just one more song" and be going on forever. But there are still many songs to upload and many more to master. And I think once the songs are uploaded, some of the efforts can be redirected towards marketing.
I just don't want the pre-order customers, although many of them are here, to have to wait TOO long. We've made HUGE progress, and this thing is happening. But there needs to be a cuttoff point stated.
So here's the deal.
IF YOU HAVE A SONG THAT YOU ARE WORKING ON, BUT HAVEN'T UPLOADED YET, PLEASE POST HERE LETTING US KNOW THE PROGRESS. WE NEED TO KNOW IF YOU ARE IN THIS.
Sorry bout the caps. I want to see this thing start turning into what it needs to be. Let's get the money flowing for the gulf coast.

Oh, and another idea for the negotiations for the CD duplication.
If the company just won't come down any more, how about adding to the negotiations that some of THE COMPANY'S profits go to the Red Cross. This helps in a couple ways. It gets more of the projects efforts donated. AND it gets tax benefits for the company itself, and maybe can help a bit.
Let me know what you think of this idea.

Oh, and freeztar, are you in Smyrna, TN? Or is there on elsewhere? Just curious, as being in Nashville, I'm not but a 20-25 minute drive from you if you are in TN.
Also, did anyone else notice that we are a sticky post now? Maybe Rob did it? Whoever did it, thanks!

I really hope we can hit 60 preorders...that would give us a nice budget. I am contacting all my friends today to try and get that final preorder boost. I think more of them are likely to buy when the CD is ready, though, I get a sense that they like the idea but want to see it materialize first. We are soooo close to that now.

You can open a Paypal account with a checking account, no? If not, then I'm sure there is a way that somebody can receive a check from you.
