when it comes to mastering, the mp3 I put up has the sound I wish ToTc would apply...I masterd the mp3 for listening purposes.

I listen to ALL the tracks mate! It's one of the most exciting parts of me job here! 
Yes, the mix is extremely well balanced,and I've listened to it through both my AKG240DFs and my DAX reference monitors, and it cooks! It is a VERY nice track mate, and I personally like it a lot -- sorry if I haven't had the time (like we have in the contests) to tell everyone my thoughts), but I really like it and it shows in the quality and the effort.
There's no reason you can't tell TOTC that you want to maintain the same EQ in the master that you have in the MP3.
MAstering is not necessarily screwing around with the EQ and compression as much as it is balancing and leveling the songs against each other so that the CD has a continuity of loudness level and freq balance throughout all the tracks. If people upped what we requested with an allowed overhead of around -2db average, Frank shouldn't have too much trouble.

aha, well I did use quite some EQ for the master, I just wanted to point out that the sound of the mp3 is what I would like the CD master to sound like...anyways, thanks for listening... glad you likey!

Does anyone know how many Resonance CDs are in the "while supplies last" pile? Just curious. I'm about to send out a reminder to my friends . . . bunch of louts. I only know of two so far who have pre-ordered.

Did you communicate this to TOTC? Just PM him and tell him exactly what you want. He's cool about working with everyone and there's no ego trip there. It's just that, if people don't give him any instructions with their uploaded master, he does what he thinks is best for the CD.
