Hi

Question one, can i map a automatable vst paramater to a midi controller (bcr2000)(since posting this i have found how to do this one)

Question two, can i lock automation to clips? (or any form of clip, to make for easy copy & paste & movement of the recorded automation)

There is a preference for 'automation follows events' which means that copying or moving events for midi or audio can optionally move/copy the automation as well.

VSTi automation lanes do not belong to the Midi track that drives the VSTi, so sticking VSTi automation and the source Midi track in a folder allows the same copy and paste etc, to move all the events associated with that VSTi, if the range tool is used.
