Here are some of my edited sample sounds from my Yamaha SY85, sampled and edited on my Akai S5000. They were originally posted on the excellent Hollowsun site until the free download was stopped.
For the soundfont versions, visit http://www.sf2midi.com/ and type in SY85 in the search engine.

HI

I had an SY85 - I would love to get hold of a couple of the Performance patches - one in particular was called 'Aztec', there was also a similar sounding patch but I can't remember the name, it had that pan flute/string sound.

Any chance of getting that/those together?

Hmmmm... don't recall it off hand, but I'll dig my SY85 out again and have a look for you.

Will get around to sampling some of my synths, including a Yamaha SY77, Korg M1, Oberheim Matrix 1000 and a few others. There just isn't enough hours in the day....
