Is it possible to use the Vienna Symphonic Orchestra sounds on the Garritan Personal Orchestra? I know its compatible with HALion, Kontakt and GigStudio, but since it works with gigastudio i was wonderin if it would work with garritan personal orchestra.

Many use both libraries together and they complement each other nicely. At one time we even had a cross-grade between VSL and GPO users. Both VSL and GPO share many of the same sampling philosophies.

GPO is a virtual instrument (Vsti/Dxi/RTAS/AU) that works in most sequencers and VST hosts. You cannot load any other sounds directly into the Kontakt Player but you can use the player along side other samplers. GPO also opens in Kontakt and if you have Kontakt (full version) then it would be easier. If you are using VSL in GigaStudio, EXS or Halion, it may still be possible to get them to work together depending on your sequencer or hosting environment.

If you have Cubase, I could post a workaround on howto get GigaStudio and Cubase/GPO working together.

I actually use Fl Studio, but thats the thing. Im trying to use VSL sounds as soundbanks inside of GPO to work in FL Studio.

If you mean "Can I use the GPO software, but play the VSL sounds with it", the answer is no. GPO software is locked to GPO sounds, and GPO sounds are locked to GPO (and Kontakt full version).

Ok i understand now. Thanks. And Is there any similarities between the GPO sounds and the VSL sounds. From the way it looks, it sounds like VSL sounds are THE superior to all others. But are te GPO sounds just as good?
