Damn, those are some of my faves too...how did I forget them!!

(I especially love Ron Granger's theme to The Prisoner...besides also doing Dr. Who, he also did the soundtrack to "The Omega Man" which was excellent as well :))

It was great, because you got to hear a pretty much full length song, as the intro was so freakin' long :hihi:
Was there even a show that had a repeating intro longer than The Prisoner?

Post

Neighbours
Family Affair
Countdown
Trisha

:hihi:

Post

Nightrider!

The Fresh Prince had a pretty cool tune, too... as did Who's the Boss.

I also quite liked the Miami Vice theme... but my fave is (hope this isn't cheesy) the theme from the original Hulk series... That piano piece at the end... Didn't entirely fit the show, but damn pretty!

Sanford and Son
Taxi
Nightrider
Hill Street Blues
What's Happenin'?
Dukes of Hazzard
All in the Family (the piano bit after the show)
Miami Vice
Hawaii Five-0
X-Files
ER
Dr. Who

Theme from M.A.S.H.

Ahmad Jamal recorded a cool jazzy version - love it.

that was flatt and scruggs with jerry scroggins singing, yes- flatt and scruggs appeared on the show together...

sanford and son was done by quincy jones, a fav of mine too

in the sixties and 70's the king was "music by devol", frank devol, who played happy kyne (sp?) of "happy kyne and his orchestra" on fernwood tonight (later "america tonight), on of the funniest shows ever...) devol did brady bunch, my three sons, i think family affair...oh hell, now i gotta google...

most info i'm finding is movie themes, devol did "dirty dozen" and "guess who's coming to dinner" amonst others...

here's a pretty complete list of tv, movies, and acting credits for devol(i could have sworn he did more tv themes than listed...:? )

here's a site with tons of theme songs to listen to:
