ulysses 31 sounds like a cross between the darkness and ladytron.

danger mouse

inspector gadget

heathcliff reminds me slightly of the middle of the happy days theme tune

fraggle rock though I remember someone singing slightly different lyrics to this in the school playground -

"down at fraggle rock
grab a fraggle by his c*ck
swing him round and round
now he's dead"

etc.

I am a sucker for british crime series, and I love the theme music from Inspector Morse and from the crime series featuring the PD James character Adam Dalgliesh (don't quite remember the name of that one).

I don't know if they have kept the music from the old episodes (haven't seen the new episodes with Martin Shaw). The music I remember is from the early eighties (when Roy Marsden was playing Dalgliesh). I remember it as a very melancholic string piece.

Done by the same band that brought us songs like "Fight For Your Right To Masterbate" and "I've Got A Boner For X-Mas", no less.

Morricone's Chi Mai was used as the theme tune for a drama about David Lloyd George...I think.
Best sci fi has got be original theme to Space 1999 by Barry Gray. If anyone does a dance remix of this they'd make a fortune (But I'd claim 10% for suggesting the idea!)
