I think you should check with him if you do...this is not a flame or an attack but a wise suggestion...that is too much like the original and if you ask me that is a violation of patten laws...I'm not a lawyer so I don't know but the similarities are too close...honestly I think this could cost you anything you make in profits off your other pluggins...just as suggestion...though it does appear you only listen to those who agree with...but why clone their gui? Why mention them? The name with two letters added, the gui so similar, it all smells bad too me. Have you checked out the laws? I would real quick if I were you...

Following Hink's words and going into some sort of rant on my own:
I'm not a lawyer, but have as someone who is perhaps considered an "IT Professional" these days [not what I'd call myself everyday of the week, but some people use the term so hey], the use of interface items such as these is not original at all. I can distinctly remember a set of plugins from about 5 years ago that had a similar slider arrangement etc.
There have been law suits in the past about crazy things like the arrangement of menu items, but usually those sorts of things leed to a lot of litigation [some more than 5 years or so], but not much of an outcome. If any person said they could import Antares presets into this, they'd probably be sued tomorrow for certain.
That being said, if you combine the GUI, the sliders, and the presentation it's quite obvious that the UI is being ripped off, and as such you can expect some kind of formal response at some point, probably a CAD notice [Cease and desist] - if they're going to be nice.
Why you'd want to copy that bland interface though, I'm not sure. If it's meant for vocals, why can't we have some fine pictures of people who sing? Some clever perhaps contemporary artwork? Call the thing something better to "TheDuetDude" or "VocalPal" or something. Appeal to the sorts of artists who'd love this sort of thing. Antares is just doing an "anatomy" theme.
Anyways, I need some sleep. Don't kill eachother over this whole plugin-communisism-socialism-capitalist-no-idea-but-well-argue-it-in-espanol-russian-and-french-I-cant-comprehend-but-will-pick-some-more till I'm gone ok?

okay this must be a joke right.... I only read this thread now.... and find most of it pretty pointless and boring.....
making your own attempt on a plug-in is okay... I haven't tested any of them though since I don't know what use they could have for me... and that's not my point...
I think Midiworks didn't want to do damage to Antares or anything so..
BUT
what in gods name do you think, copying grphics from their GUI??? that is theft.... please remove this graphic and make your own (or ask someone to do some elements for you)
you didn't even try to RECREATE... (which would be okay in my book) you simply took a screenshot and rearanged some elements and put another layer on it.....
Midi.. I'm not trying to bring you down... I just say it cuz it's not in your best intrest to post this pic or release a plug with that GUI
