hi all :)

well i have sighed a deal with another studio witch insist i work using SX3 :? (i hate working in other studios, but he dose have a much better studio than mine)

i like the sound i get from SX3 but i don't know my way around it (& the things i need to know he dosent :x )

you may see me allot in here asking questions :oops:

things i wanted to know this time are;

can i assaine a key map to scroll through vst pre-sets?

can i assaine a key map to set the loop markers to be either side of the selected clip?

can i assaine a key map to show all clips on screen in the araingment screen? (or any way to zoom using the mouse roller, like in logic & Tracktion?)

that's all for now, seeing as I'm still trying to take in what i have learnt already

thank you in advance

You can click on the patch (in the bar at the top of the VSTi window) and use the up/down arrow keys on the keyboard with the return key to select (I don't think this is assignable).

Yes, the key command is called 'locators to selection' you can assign this to whatever you want.

Yes, the key command is called 'zoom to full'.

I don't know but you could create a macro that triggers stop then delete commands and assign a key command to that macro, but it could end up deleting something else that has been selected since the recording process started.

Yes, and there are also a number of pdf manuals downloadable on the Steinberg ftp including some latest version updates.

There is also an xsl tool on my website to display SX2/3 key commands in your browser like this
