Ok, I paid off all my bills and .........of course.........I have an itchy trigger finger again........
anyone using the "older" version of the trackplug with good results?

I use Trackplug 4 and I find it very good. Prior to this I used Crunchessor as my basic track compressor, but Trackplug just seems to sound better and smoother to me. Plus the EQ and gate are great additions for tracking.
I would recommend trying the demo. It wasn't long after trying it out that I decided it was definitely worth a purchase.
I'm dying to see what version 5 sounds like.

I have it patched at least 10 times in every project
The compressor has the nicest controls.
I'm also a big fan of the multiband.
