Nice! Wow! This is big improvement over the previous site. And Neutorn is looking even more tempting especialy with automatic loop slicing that plays at the songs tempo! Can't wait!
Off now to pitch bend with Tau (Pro)!

Hi Dave,

Electron112. exe does not find my Electron.dll to its liking

The current version is 1.0 -- perhaps I need an earlier update to run the patch on.

Yay Dave.

Pitchbend for Tau Pro....I was just thinking about that the other day.

Thanks very much!

And as for the list of features you have for Neutron.....count me in - I'm there. I just wish I could have it now.

I'm guessing it's going to be a couple of months away though. *sigh*

Well although I probably would offer to run some tests on Muzys, Dave's closer connections with Muzys through the CM Studio probably means he wouldn't need anyone testing on that platform.

I'd love to have a go at earlier though. :D

I can't help it - I'm greedy for the Neutron BOMB!!!
And when I get it I'll be doing the Neutron Dance!!!

Hmm....

I reinstalled windows about 2 weeks ago, and still haven't installed all my VSTs back again, so the news of a Tau update prompted me to install the lovable beast..

I installed as normal; the file was version 1.0.1.0. Then I ran the updater, pointing to E:\Audio\VSTplugins\TauPro, which is where taupro.dll lives.

Alas, after the installer tells me that its been successful, the file is still 1.0.1.0. Clicking the Muon logo on Tau itself reflects this; it says 1.01.

Whats the diagnosis, Dr. Muon? :(

EDIT: This lack of updatage doesn't stop me from making my room shake though: http://tokartta.epigamer.com/ilovetaupro.MP3 :D (4 Tau Pro's, and some freeware in Fruityloops - 376KB)

I just updated both, and it worked just fine. What a great joy to see two of the best get even better! I love the new pitch bend functions too. Tau Pro just became the most rip-snortin' lead in the VST folder. I am overjoyed. God I hope I didn't wake anyone up (it's 6:30 AM here)...

Scot, can you whip up a droning, buzzy didgeridoo sound on the Tau Pro. It might be possible with the pitch bend feature installed.

Maybe that's a challenge I can post on Virtual Sound Studio instead.

Tokartta,

I just retested the patch here and it works fine. Afterwards your Tau Pro should show 1.1 as the DLL version (right-click, properties, version) and 1.1 on the splash when you click the Muon logo. File size is 1662976 bytes 27th November.

If you don't see that, the patch has failed. What I would do in your case is copy the DLL onto your desktop, apply the patch there and then copy that file back to your plugins directory. If that doesn't work, drop me a mail and I'll send you the full-fat version.

Regards
Dave
