Just had a look at those, they look interesting but still not exactly intuitive having to use a host and try to use host features for monitoring etc. I tried to set up ASIO4ALL in renoise and was planning on trying something there, but i can't get both soundcards working in it. Very irritating, cos thats what i do with traktor and others and it works fine.spacedad wrote:are x-tal or mp3play vsti's not right?
Cheers for the suggestions though

Quincy, have you checked out the incoming Traktor DJ Studio 3.0?
Look here : http://www.nativeinstruments.de/site/in ... raktor3_us
It´s not "moderately" priced, but it´s now got everything you´re asking for, I think.

The simulation of the allen and heath mixer is a good idea, my favourite club has one of those in and i've watched various DJs do some brilliant trickery using the filters and whatnot on that thing.
Looks excellent and worth saving for. 4 decks, tight and fluid interface, FX etc. I'll be trying the demo for sure.
