Heeellp!!! Live 4 doesnt recognize my Midi device!!!

I've not opened Live since i bought Sonar 4. After a long time(say about 6 months
) i decided to open it and i wasnt able to play any VST!!
I tried to configure the midi port (E-mu 0404 midi) and i says "Failed to open E-DSP 0404

BTW, i wanted to do this long time ago, but kept forgetting :
I salute the person who did Protoplasm free. Its an absolute wonderful dream of a synth!! I've been using it in Sonar and i just LOVE It!!!! I also have like a ton of other free VST plugins and i'd like to thank those developers for doing a GREAT job!!!!!

Try Midi-Ox and see if your computer receives any signals from the MIDI port at all.

My midi port works just fine with the other apps like Sonar. Live is the ONLY host that gives an error message.
