Cameleon 5000 is a good resynthesis machine and a darn good synth by any standards, I rate it right up there with VirSyn Tera 2. worth every penny

It's not a DOS command. It's a magical spell! Bill Gates sold his soul to the Devil long ago for this 'secret black technology'. It's the one thing that kept DOS running at all.
BTW, did you know the Devil is an effeminate gay who likes to throw whipped cream pies at people? He has a pink poodle he calls "Fourth Rider" and when I asked him about that, he said it was the Fourth Rider of the Apocalypse. I never know when to believe him though.

Hi,
CamelSpace is pretty handy for sticking on any synth to give it massive new range of sounds.
Things seem to be progressing quite well over in LUG group buy land...
Ben
It does make a cool combination ' ehand yeah, when one runs Cameleon through Camelspace, it's even a wowowow

Ben, is it correctly interpreted that the extra soundbanks from the Group Buy (given that the required numbers are reached) will be available for all?
I might only be able to afford to sign up for Cameleon and not the soundbank bundle before the deadline...

Hm, I just tried CamelSpace for the first time. Have to say I'm impressed, especially as it's one of the (very few) plugins allowing for shuffled things (on the trancegate). Most are missing out on this. Would be even better if the delay could be shuffled as well.
But, as said, quite a nice (and probably inspiring) plugin.

I think you may have misunderstood. If the group buy reaches the required target, then I will have an extra bank of sounds for Cameleon commissioned, and this will be available to all Cameleon owners. However, the soundbank bundle (of TC Galacy, Biomechanikal, Progressions and Digiscapes) is not going to be given away for free. You still get a hell of a lot sounds with Cameleon, and more available to registered users for free from the website, so don't worry to too much. The banks are however of extremely high quality (the sounddesigners get a royalty on each, so they went the extra mile!) - you can download the free presets with each bank and check em out.Ben, is it correctly interpreted that the extra soundbanks from the Group Buy (given that the required numbers are reached) will be available for all?
The delay might not have shuffle timing (though I'm not quite sure what this would be in the context of a delay) - however what you do have is normal, dotted and triplet timing for each of 1/32, 1/16 ... 1/1, 2/1. This means that you can get some pretty interesting delay timing stuff going on!Hm, I just tried CamelSpace for the first time. That's what I meant. Thanks! I can always buy the soundset bundle later.Ben [Camel Audio] wrote:I think you may have misunderstood. I've seen the triplet optionsBen [Camel Audio] wrote: The delay might not have shuffle timing (though I'm not quite sure what this would be in the context of a delay) - however what you do have is normal, dotted and triplet timing for each of 1/32, 1/16 ... 1/1, 2/1. But, if you ever get the chance, look at Logics Stereo or Tape Delays. They've got a shuffle slider, working pretty much similar to what the shuffle knob on your trancegate is doing.
Really useful in case you need, say, a 16th delay but the main beat is some sort of halftime shuffle. I'm using this feature quite often.
Cheers,
Sascha

I don't understand why you people like CamelSpace and CamelPhat so much. The truth is I don't really know what is their purpose. Are they used to make dance and techno music?
I am a blues guitar player, would they be any good to me? Is there any kind of tutorial and applications samples?

Why don't you just check the demo, surf through some presets and decide for yourself?A3ntar wrote: I am a blues guitar player, would they be any good to me? Is there any kind of tutorial and applications samples?
Fwiw, originally I'm some sort of rock/blues guitar player too, but I certainly enjoy VST(i) land a lot!

Sascha, how do i hook it up? right now, I am running Amplitube1 ( and I have the demo of guitar rig installed ). I am using energyXT, the input go through Amplitube1 and to the outputs. Where does CamelSpace or Phat sit in? before or after Amplitube1?

Like Sascha said. Camelphat is for fattening things up, might be nice for your guitar, CamelSpace is a gate: in this case, a multi-effect with rhythm.
