Thanks once again, Squids, for offering us this. I just want to give a heads up to anyone who participated in the World Instruments group buy, but who doesn't (yet!) have Kontakt 2, and who therefore sees no reason to download the K2 version of the C7, to download it anyways... the day you eventually load it into Kontakt, you'll be glad you did! The velocity response of this instrument is amazing, so much more natural and subtle than in the SS2/ ST2 environment (I'm sure there are technical reasons for this within the ST2 engine). I was looking forward to having this piano in K2, in order to be able to "tweak" it, but, to my very pleasant surprise, this sounds, and, more importantly, plays, just amazing straight out of the box! I'd go so far as to say that, from considering the C7 as a nice extra to have thrown in with the World Instruments, it is in fact worth the asking price (particularly at the price where the group buy ended!) all by itself!
A very pleasant surprise indeed! :)
(I'm still waiting for the rest of the World Instruments to complete their swim across the Atlantic! )
I did get a life,once...but it was faulty, so I sent it back.

We're glad you like it. ;-)

Enjoy!

Yes, I second this. Great stuff. And thanks for the swift work on offering the download.

oh, so the download's fixed.
that's good news.

Yes, it's fixed. All you smart group buyers got that one as a nice extra. eSoundz members that didn't participate in the group buy will be able to buy it as a downloadable product soon as well as various sets of world instruments from this collection (also in ST2). If you really wanted everything then the group buy was the chance for that but if you want some things ala carte then perhaps there is still a chance (so, you're saying there's a chance... name the movie).

:D

Does it work in Kontakt 1.53?

Boy; 'So....you're saying...there's a chance'

I bought kontakt2 recently- the sampleset you get with it is huge and very nice. (although you can hear someone knocking a chair over or something on one of the piano notes - around the lower register at about 50% velocity when you hold the key down long enough. Pretty funny ;)

Kind regards

We didn't do any of the K2 factory pianos. Although sometimes when I sample a piano I want to just kick a chair over. :D
