The other day, 2 days ago Sonar was working fine, I go to record a song in 48000 24bit today and the audio will skip while im recording (yet the recording does not skip). There are no plugins being used the only thing different im doing is recording 2 tracks at once.

So I go back to the same settings as the other day 41000 24bit to see if recording will work on another song that was previously recorded in 41000 24bit just to see if the 48000 was the problem .. And then the program crashes the second I hit play ... And I'm about to see if the recording skips in a moment ..

but the error up there worries me .. Can anyone provide help ???

I suggest using Cakewalks forum, as the bakers are more active there. For the record, I have/still do record multiple tracks at 24/44.1k without the error. Have you updated drivers/winders lately?

sap's suggestion is on

there were some problems with the release of 4.03 (i think) that caused some small percentage of people to have problems like this

there's an update if you haven't already installed it

Yeah but I am having the above mentioned Error Code in A lot of my programs

the dropouts I did see were a problem with 4.0.3 BUT I have had it since it came out and the problems just started today.

Thanks for that info. Didn't know. I just downloaded the update. I didn't have any crash but I had some audio skipping since I installed the first 4.0.3 update. I hope this will fix it. I wish Cakewalk had sent us an email about that, though.

hmm maybe I will have to make a new thread for the memory error since its happening in other progs now.
