maybe it would be possible for us to throw up some sound example sometime. Most of the kits we have done ourselves. I can't believe someone would ASK if this was 12 bit!
Of course you'll get your 12 bit!!! Anyways, this is practically in beta, so we have plenty more to add/subtract from it. Let's just see where it goes.

It shouldn't emulate a Linn's sound at all- the SP1200 was an E-mu product...ezeeboogie wrote:Look's ace!
How acurately does it attempt to emulate the Linn's sound? For example (from Here)
Have you tried to emulate that behaviour in any way?Angus_FX wrote:...the SP1200 doesn't interpolate...(it has) independent variable-frequency DACs. The pitch of the digital noise and crunch rises proportionately with the pitch of the drum, rather than the alias character changing with pitch as you'd find in a bitcrusher. Nobody's emulated that in software yet AFAIK.

Emulate is tricky. We know the filter design and all the specs, but don't know if they will be implemented in software. (You could imagine how much workit is). Just thought i'd throw it out, as I said, this thing is in beta still.

12-bit!!!!!!!!!!!! i cannot stop salivating while thinking about this VST. i sold my MPC60 and have been sad ever since (i miss the 12bit grit).... an emulated SP1200 would be like a gift from the heavens. Good luck with this.
