This looks and sounds to be a great progression from the drummodules and XXdr8008 which I still regularly use (if I use drums that is)
Please put a bit of attention in the automation options to the buttons as I found on the XXdr no way to automate that in ext. It would seriously make it an even better live tool. Offcourse I miss controls over the individual sounds, but for some reason your sounds are quite good

@ mystahr:
first, thank you!
I will do my best regarding automation!
(well Ive heard from some people able to automate xxdr, but as a neverusing-automator and never-used ext I have no clue how....)

Of course!dx-9 wrote:absolutely..ew wrote:It shouldn't emulate a Linn's sound at all- the SP1200 was an E-mu product...ezeeboogie wrote:Look's ace!
How acurately does it attempt to emulate the Linn's sound? For example (from Here)
Angus_FX wrote:...the SP1200 doesn't interpolate...(it has) independent variable-frequency DACs. The pitch of the digital noise and crunch rises proportionately with the pitch of the drum, rather than the alias character changing with pitch as you'd find in a bitcrusher. Nobody's emulated that in software yet AFAIK.
Have you tried to emulate that behaviour in any way?

I'd just been reading This and must have had Linn on my mind...

As this plug is SO anticipated, I hope you are gonna at least 'suggest' a Katrina charity donation for each DL

Actually, I was thinking of that this whole entire day. Odd! The only problem is is that we don't know how to set up all that, an account and all. All we could do is suggest for people to go and donate, and once they have we could give it to them??? That is a toughy.

Just search for a reputable online charity pointing to Katrina. And tie the link in with the DL. You could call it 'Conscience Ware'No name wrote:Actually, I was thinking of that this whole entire day. Odd! The only problem is is that we don't know how to set up all that, an account and all. yeah but we have to tell all donators, that at least 50% of all donations are used to pay loans and locations of the organisations! keep that in mind! ---sorry had to say the truth one time---

Yes. But 50% of something is 100% better than 50% of nothing
