Variations in a pattern with Cortex

Cortex is a drum sampler with 5 rows of step sequencers. Each row can load up to 3 samples. It is part of Psychic Modulation Neurosynth Pack. I already posted some examples of its pitch sliders but I like them so I made 2 others, and you may have missed the first ones.

First here's a picture of a row:


The fader to the left controls the amount of pitch modulation. The sliders under each step control the modulation for each step. Center means that the sample plays without any change.

Samples from our drums/percussions kits and the Prepared Rhodes Light and Clean are used in the examples below.

Was in fact the first promo we did with Psychic Modulation, we may redo it and as you know there are already 50 samples from our Electronic drums/percussions kit included with Cortex.

And you could include a few kits for Cortex using those samples as well.

Something along this line is on its way. I'm working with Jack on some new sample content to be included in the Neurosynth Pack, specifically for Cortex and Quad Zamp.

...and the quite incredible synths Jack puts out.
