what could be the possible advantages of using energyXT as a plugin in cubase?
does thisa combination give more possibilities than cubase itself?

Yeah. Cubase offers no way to move your plugs around so if you've filled slots 1-n of a channel's inserts and want to add a new plug at the very beginning, you have to manually each plug one slot down (with all the crap that that entails). With ext you just change the routing. ext's configurability also means that you can create those complex multi-effects setups you see on high-end workstations: a whole bunch of effects, some in series, some in parallel, some as inserts, some as sends. And since you can save that configuration, you will soon build up a library of powerful and transportable presets that you can even use in other hosts. For me anyway, it is the best of both worlds: cubase's vastly superior editing options with ext's vastly superior flexibility...

I once heard regarding probably an earlier version that the interface does not always open in its size, after opening a saved project in cubase (only about 10/10px - can't see anything). Is this already dealt with in 1.3.5?
