fateamenabletochange,
check your paypal transfer history, maybe you chose something like wire transfer by accident (happened to me once, and I ended up wondering why the recipient isn't getting their money).
best
Markus

Spoke with my cousin who is a marketing type. He had some questions:
1. Music Genres on the disc
2. Place to DL samples
3. Have we considered putting tracks onto iTunes?
4. Who is the spokesperson that can do radio and TV interviews? (I nominate xander)
It's probably time that the track list get finalized soon so that the website can morph into a true sales promotion site for the disc. I'm still nervous about sending folks to our site right now because the bulk of the site is not about the CD project, but about the prizes. That's cool - it certainly appears to have helped us with pre-orders; but it's my opinion that it needs to take on pHz's artwork, a sample track list needs posted with .mp3 snippets, etc.
This is probably jumping ahead a bit, I realize.

Yeah, we need to move from preorder phase to CD promotion phase.
We're at 102 preorders. Prizes have been drawn, and more stuff to come.

I think thats what you get for doing a quick "mastering" job on headphones at 4AM..freeztar wrote:Love the track man!
The mix sounds really weird here though. I had to check my sub and eq to make sure it wasn't my setup, but it wasn't. It seems very bass lacking, but perhaps that's how you meant it.
I replaced them with versions encoded straight from the 24-bit mix I propose to upload (I just normalised first): mp3 ogg

EXCELLENT! He's a great mate of mine. Met him in college when I was walking down the hall and heard him fiddling with an electric piano and Minimoog. So I introduced myself. An avid gamer . . . and a guy who's been away from music too long. Maybe now I can turn him to the dark side and get him into computer music . . . what's the best cheap-ass host around?...xander wrote:These unique VSTs are ChineeKong, featuring Chinese percussion sounds, ChineeWinds, with unique Chinese flute sounds, and the upcoming ChineeErhu, which is the famous Erhu player.

Sounds better platinum! Something is still strange though. My volume is all the way up and it sounds like it is at about 25% listening to your song. The spectrum is a lot more balanced though, although still a little lacking in the low to low-mids me thinks.
Anti-aliasing is for "synthmonk%ys".
