Well - there is an understatement. 5-6 months is a bit ridiculous. It is painfully obvious that their NAMM announcement was just another hyped vaporware alert. The product probably had months of work to go back in April.

IK should have just avoided the NAMM announcement altogether and waited to announce this update like say - today? At least we would be reasonably close to actually seeing a product.

Do the ST2L owners get the update and sounds for free or does it just apply to the 2XL owners?

The 2.1 engine is for ST2L users, too. Not sure about the sounds, though.

Hey, I never thought about it and didn't try it either, but maybe ST2 sounds load in Philharmonik? Then we can all use the Philharmonik engine and scroll the hell out of it.

Clearly, some people don't see the need for scroll wheel support, but I don't need another IK interface, thank you! ...Have three already! So does this mean it WILL be included in ST2 2.1?? Or, are you saying I need to buy yet another IK product to get this feature/capability... that I think should have been added a long time ago

Hmmm, he didn't really say, but it implies that scroll wheel is actually gonna happen in a future version of ST, maybe in ST2.1...

Sorry guys, that was actually a joke. Although it is fun to scroll through sounds with the scroll wheel in Philharmonik.

Haha, but nope. Philharmonik only loads Philarmonik sounds, and (at the moment) Philharmonik sounds can only be loaded in Philharmonik.

Seriously though, That Philharmonik has scroll wheel support is a good sign that it might be coming to future ST2 releases.
