I have a waves Renaissance Max bundle and cannot seem to get it up and running.
I downloaded the demo, I liked the plugs, so I bought them. The demo expired. I uninstalled the the trial then I loaded my install disc. I go and select authorize, my computer shuts off and restarts.
I have registered on line already, can anyone tell me the problem? Why does my cpu restart when i try to authorize?

Get in contact with support from Waves, since you spent a lot of money but can't get to it.
Maybe you're one of the unlucky which has serious issues with iLok. It seems to have downsides, since some people refuse to buy anything which has iLok...

it's likely the copy protection doing that because it has a false alarm thinking someone tries to tinker with it restarts your machine.
Download the latest pace driver, then try authorizing your plugins again. If it still doesn't work send an email to support@paceap.com explaining your problem, cc the waves support addy on your email.

you don't need an ilok usb key, it's optional. the whole copy protection thing is called iLok.

We heard about this problem before.
It has to do with pace.
You have to get help from Waves.
Ahh... and while your are at it make sure to tell them how much you hate their choice of copy protection.
