So I recently went on a KVR binge and downloaded a whole bunch of VSTs and VSTis.
However, now when I try to load up either Kristal or Cubase LE, I can't get the program to "finish" loading. I managed to solve the problem by removing all of my plugins from the plugin folder and storing them somewhere else. I think I have too many for the programs to load up completely.
Is there any way around this? Has anyone else ever solved this problem? I really want to experiment with all my plugins available at once. Right now I can get things to work with only a small fraction of my plugins in the vst plugins folder.

its usually an iffy plugin causing the app the lock up during its initial scan rather than just having too many ...
... unfortunately the only sure way to check is to add one (or at most a small group) plugin back into the folder at a time and trying a program launch ... once you find the one thats locking things up you know to remove it and not reinstall ...
