So I don't play guitar but my father in law does. He wants a chorus pedal for his birthday but he asked for a
Boss one (all other boss pedals I've used were total P.O.S.'s)

List me your favorite chorus pedals under $300 US.

He primarily is a blues/classic rock sorta guy so I'd prefer a nice blues/60's ish era chorus for him.

The good old Digitech Whammy pedal.
I've always preferred a detune to a chorus- much better to my ears.

I use a CE-5. Im sure there are much better pedals out there, but to be honest Im not a massive fx man when it comes to guitar.

I like a simple set up. Quality guitar, cranked amp, maybe a fruity distortion in the middle... and Im happy!

Zvex do some very nice pedals. Im sure they do a chorus too, might be worth a look.

you know what's really funny, around here back in the day when EH was not vintage but new, I don't know anyone that didn't consider it crap and the "toy" of fx...
