egbert ... this is how I thought initially also ... and the PCI card may eventually wear too which kinda means that it isn't exactly fullproof in the long run ... but I guess none of our native VSTs are either, microsoft may change architectures and if any of the plugins arent adapted to it, then ...

nice samples man. I'm pretty fond of the pocket limiter, can also be used as an awesome track limiter and it's really smooth.

I don't think you need worry about the TL thing, all the license agreements that I have read coincide with the thoughts you and I had and thus, I think Daniel may wish to rewrite the agreement for more clarity. I've read more of those agreements than you could possibly know... which is pretty sad

Anyways, I think I'm done adding to this topic.

About the oversampling examples. In both examples it is like this:

A = 44,1kHz

B = 192kHz

Na, wer hat denn bloß nochmal CGO-1 und TBT TubeLimit ins Spiel gebracht?

Kann schlußfolgerlich meine Aussage auch nur annähernd ernst gemeint gewesen sein, oder hab' ich da wohl eher ein bissel ironisiered geantwortet (wie Du selbst ja übrigens auch)?

also das mit dem Namensgedächtnis, da bin ich nicht sicher ob ich Dich verstanden habe. Was meinst Du? Äh ja, mein Namensgedächtnis ist recht gut. Und?

Ich kann Dir da auch leider gerade nicht wirklich folgen mit dem GCO-1 und TubeLimit. An den thread zum Thema compressors erinnere ich mich schon. Was wolltest Du mir denn jetzt sagen?

Und sicher, in den letzten postings zu schlechten plugins waren wir 100% in der Witzelzone. Ich habe auch Deine Aussage, dass meine Musik dann ja schlecht klingen müsse als innerhalb der Witzelzone gewertet, kein Problem.

Trotzdem eine willkommene Gelegenheit auf meine Website mit meiner letzten CD hinzuweisen.

Hi bmanic,

well, for the Sonalksis it's obvious. Sounds better at higher SR. The Compadre example does sound as if the compressors times are shorter and therefor it does sound different. It's not only the oversampling. The kicks and snares are shorter and tighter.
