hello...
does anyone knows of any vst simple plug with just a gain knob/param ? i need it to use in modular hosts.
in the past ive seen some around built with synthedit, but now i cant find any. google cant help me. the terms "vst plugin gainer" are too common to deliver any good results.
i would even prefer that the plug was not built with synthedit.
any help would be super nice...
thanks in advance...

Heh, you can use the "AGain" plug that's an example in the vst sdk
. Anybody with the sdk should be able to build it for you. I'd do it but I just removed the sdk and dev tools from my system.
This would work for you but it's over 700K which is about 10 times larger than AGain: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 34#1389434

There used to be one in a Topaz filter pack. I think it was called GainUp.10. TK plugins had one and I think abyss did as well.

I have one that reduces gain, with a smoothed curve (so there's no stepping when you control it via MIDI CCs). I used this to replace CC11 messages on certain MIDI parts (CC11 = expression = relative volume) and to automate audio track levels without loosing/wasting my main fader control.
But as said, it only reduces gain.
Let me know if you want it. Some very kind guy custom coded this for me a while back (along with some sync panner). I'm allowed to share them.

There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.
