Any songs that, Steven West, has created that has a bass part. Stevens' Group of 77 albums, that feature, Jodi Krangle, www.musesmuse.com on vocals are especially good.

My favourites that have great bass parts are, Highlands, The Victoria, and, Nowhere Is Home. Great performances all round !!!

well...I'm glad you see what I mean...for the record, it's one of Beck's favourite albums by one of Beck's favourite artists....does that help?

It's also one of mine, as well as being an album I purchased on a whim... He did THAT in 1971!!! Aged 40-something. (There's hope for us all...)

I thought all my songs had bass parts? But thanks for the kudos Zest.

Highlands is actually a guitar toned to a bass register, The Victoria is a Fender Bass from a Yamaha SY77, and Nowhere Is Home is the bass from a ROland R-70 if I recall? White people, huh? Go figure!

Early 'Gang Of Four' - was that Sarah Lee?... 'Cause nobody doesn't like Sarah Lee!' (sorry, old ad slogan.

) But she did League Of Gentlemen with Robert Fripp THEN Gang Of Four - or was it vice versa? I know she wound up with The B-52's for Love Shack et al... She's a fine funky fox if you ask me!
