About mp3 previews.. do we want full mp3 songs, or 20-30 second mp3 clips? I was under the impression it'd be easiest and most consistent if ToTc compiles the preview clips from the masters, at least thats how we did it on the resonance project.

btw, will anyone notify me when i have to delete my "holding on" track from the auditorium forum? i guess that i should not have a complete mp3 track(that will be included into the cd) as a free download, right?

No -- 2 things: We'll take about 10 secs from each song -- from the MP3s. FrakTOTC needs some time yet to finish the masters, so unless he says thaey are all ready and he has time, then it'll be OK to use the MP3s for now.
We can normalize & loud compress if need be on those sections of songs we use.
That said: If there is *another* volunteer by the name of xRAVENx in the house....

processing the mp3s and then re-encoding them.. is something I'd recommend to stay away from Alex. We want previews but not a 'yuck' experience for the audience.
Til when do we need the preview mp3s? If you give me the time I can compile them from the material on koolkey's (is it?) FTP and have them available Friday morning.
