ST2 SE vs ST2 LE

Quick question and I apologize in advance if this has been beaten to death before...

I have tried to get some answers from Mackie on this to no avail...

I have the boxed version of T2 which has ST2 SE. I was in the recent World Sounds GB and of course we generously received all 3 versions of the sounds.

Now, I can load these in Reason but I was hoping since we have all 3 that I could use these in T2 directly.

Should the T2 SE version be able to do this OR if I got a capsule with the LE version could that work to use directly in T2?

Thanks...I has asked this a while ago here on the RMS forum and on Mackie's site and not gotten an answer. I just went to Mackie's site to quote from the description where it says it will load samples and that copy was gone.

Checked Mackie site's forum and Dan from Mackie had in fact answered the question yesterday and had the incorrect information removed from the ST2 SE description.

They are apparently working with IK to get a sepcial upgrade path but in the meantime, if I get a Sonik Capsule with ST2 LE, I'll be able to load any ST sounds, is that right?

Thanks Kim...you don't by any chance have anything downloadable that comes with ST2LE, do you? I'm one of those "instant gratification" kinds

No, sorry. The only downloads on eSoundz (at the moment) are sounds. You can get ST2LE bundled with any single-disc ST2-compatible library on eSoundz though.
