Which song has your fave bass part?

David William Sims, the bassist in the Jesus Lizard, was a genius when it came to writing quirky-catchy-intelligent bass parts.

'Horse Doctor Man' is a favorite, but its really hard to choose, the guy was so inventive.

Speaking of which, I wonder what he is up to these days.

(sorry, old ad slogan. ) But she did League Of Gentlemen with Robert Fripp THEN Gang Of Four - or was it vice versa? I know she wound up with The B-52's for Love Shack et al... She's a fine funky fox if you ask me!

who? sorry, my post was a waste of everyone's time...i was confused...

edit- i had to figure this out...Kira Roseller was the bass player at the end of Black Flags' days, she went on to become a sound editor for film (Daddy Daycare amongst others)...Sara Lee indeed was in B52's, Gang of Four, Ani DeFranco, etc, i stand corrected...where i got my info, who knows....
