Question: How does VM compare to Kjaerhus GMO-1. I have GMO and it's great but CPU hungry so I can't use more than a couple instances per song.

I bet you got my last post, didn't you?haydxn wrote:indeed. whatever shit may or may not be going on in your life at the moment, i recommend you stop being such a dick. you are a fkucing rude prick at the moment. i don't think any of your points hold any kind of water, and i certainly don't think aleksey deserves any of YOUR shit.

'Completely reasonable' being defined as "I bought five things but only wanted one of them. Its good, but now there's one I want more, and Ive decided its my right to get it cheaper because they do similar things, and might have some of the same bits in. So Im going to sulk and throw a strop. Nyah" one presumes.jens wrote: I think I made my point, I think it is completely reasonable
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

to me it sounds just so much better - 'warmer', more natural...fac wrote:Question: How does VM compare to Kjaerhus GMO-1. I have GMO and it's great but CPU hungry so I can't use more than a couple instances per song.
- just for the record: me saying this has got nothing to do with Haydn's last post and doesn't change my opinion about that other topic even slightly. I'm just being honest.

SAP, this 'latency off' switch is available when you press the '?' mark.
jens, I do not know what to say here... It really IS a business and by releasing Vintage Modulator I intially had plans to extend it far beyond what AF Chorus is capable (e.g. through time zero design). AF Chorus is just a chorus, without any flanging functions planned for it.

but why no upgrade?Aleksey Vaneev wrote: jens, I do not know what to say here... I'm not asking to get it for free...
At least from me you would gain money by that... - it's not about the money - it's a thing of principle for me!
I dunno if I am alone with that opinion but even if I'm the only one expressing it I highly doubt that!
Try to imagine you were in my shoes...

krhm,
"Vintage Modulator is available for purchase on-line for a ridiculously low price of USD 29.95."
jens, I think you're being a bit unreasonable here.

Why, because the price is so low?

nevermind if you don't get it. I think you're alone in this.

I know there'll be no upgrade - it's been a while since Vintage Warmer has been released for the first time. At that time I asked politely for an upgrade-path, gave my argument and that was it. But whenever I see an update for Vintage Modulator my blood starts boiling again...Kingston wrote:nevermind if you don't get it. I think you're alone in this.
- I simply think it's really unjust! (yes, I truly believe in this - it's not greed on my part!)
It's no big deal anyway but Aleksey has lost a faithful customer!

'Vintage Warmer' is so often named here at KVR that it appeared to be a natural thing for my fingers to type it even if I don't own it at all (and even never tried it..)
