Duox sounds good. The only problem I see is that, like doing this manually, mono compatibility pretty much goes out of the window. Was this also the case with the Antares one? (my demo expired)

Thanks :)

I dont see or hear any difference here to the other product...

I actually set the original slider to zero,
after I found the right doubling values.
Because all I want is a doubled voice track,
maybe even 2, panned left/right and the main vocals centered.
Sure there are differnt ways to do this,
try the random knob also, it should sound as if you
recorded 2 vocal tracks, not only one. ;)

I was thinking about this since your postng...
Yes, this should be possible.
But I guess it would be a mess...
Maybe I find a good/usefull way, we'll see. ;)

randompitch of the doubled voice is too obvious, maybe something to adjust that would be good

Post

Hi karm,
the sliders interact on low settings also with the random knob.
Try lower the pitch fader and adjust the random knob.

For me, the random knob is best set between 11 and 1 o'clock.

Thanks for trying and have fun !

if you don't hear any difference between this one and the antares plug-in, get your ears checked

Post

I leave this up to the user to decide,
they can try, compare and make there own decision.

If the other is worth a 5 times higher CPU and a 6 times higher price...

Cheers, Rene. :D

Your girlfriend's voice is a bit shaky, but I guess it does the trick. ;)

LOL, that chick's on the demo clips needs some Antares Autotune :)

Post

Btw, ChoirX demo clips are not good at all. The DuosX is not bad.

:hyper: Actually this was my, back then 16 year old daughter. :hihi:

I had no other voice take at hand... :D

Yes I know, I used the "Choir Boy demo" for the 4 voice take...
(bad demo drop outs...) Sorry :?

Heh, well I guess "your daughter's voice is a bit shaky, but it does the trick," works then. ;) ;)

Why not grab a royalty-free vocal sample somewhere? There have got to be millions.
