hey,
i'm thinking of trying to sell some cds so i'm trying to find a place that will sell me software and the right size paper for printing cd covers..
i would rather not just print on 8.5" x 11" and cut them out.. and i don't really have the money to spend on the professional printer/duplicator companies..
i've found this neato.com place so far, but again they just have 8.5/11 sheets that are perforated..
anyone know of the solution i'm looking for?
also while i'm posting - has anybody tried this Light Scribe thing that uses a cd/rw's laser to burn an image on your cd/dvd?

If you go for DVD style cases instead of jewel cases you can get away with printing to ordinary sheets of printer paper, then just cropping it to size with a guillotine...
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

I have lightscribe, its very cool........the first time you use it. After that you get pretty tired of waiting 20-40 minutes for one cd to finish.

by they way, the neato stuff works o.k.
should come with software to set up your printing, you can get two covers per sheet then its easy to tear them to size because the paper is perforated (spell?)
buy your own slim jewel cases as they are fairly cheap.

hmm. well maybe i'll just try 8.5/11 and see how wastefull it turns out.. thanks!
as for light scribe - i just don't know how stores would react to me giving them a CDR with "TDK" or "Memorex" in huge ugly letters and my name scrawled in felt-tip ink... it seems like light scribe might be a worthwhile alternative - i would only be doing a few discs at a time anyway and it would also be an excuse to finally get a dvd burner...
