Ain't that the truths. Never listened to them much, but went to a store to listen to their latest CD just to hear them ripping off Computer Love. That guys voice sux ass! And the lyrics . . . well, SUK ASS!Kriminal wrote:...Coldplay...should never have sang anything

I think Guns N' Roses version of Sympathy For The Devil was particularly poorly done. It sounds like they just set up a percussion loop and said "let's go".

My singing is a personl anguish I only share with a chosen set of misfits (i.e. KVRists).Glooper wrote:damn.. looks like they didn't save your singing though... hehe

sascha.. it's an online jamming thing...
http://www.ninjam.org/
it good fun... it uses the lag of the internet and delays playback of everyone else by a few pre-defined bars.. so that you can learn to still play in time with each other...
you need all participants to have good asio drivers ... but we've had so pretty good results..

Sounds like quite some fun, Ben. Are you folks up for a session tonight?
I'd love giving it a try.

never heard it, but i've heard "knockin' on heaven's door"...with that typical over the top cliched "rock 'n roll" axel rose screech delivery, and if i remember correctly, the obligatory audience sing along.....not so good, not so good at all....jeffn1 wrote:I think Guns N' Roses version of Sympathy For The Devil was particularly poorly done. i did, however, have to endure a car ride from san francisco to LA thru the desert listening to a jane's addiction's acoustic album including "sympathy for the devil" ...i was with a girl that wasn't speaking to me, she played the tape over and over the whole ride and nothing else (i was ready to get out and walk)...i haven't really spoken to her or listened to JA since, they both left a "never again" feeling with me...never, ever again....

He shouldn't have sung *any* song in all his life.
And now, just imagine what it's like living with a GF being more or less addicted to them...

i truly can't stand that song at all. and whenever i pick up an instrument in a public place, people always ask for that song. drives me nuts. i think it just might be one of my least fav songs of all time. the day the music died was the day that song was writtenSascha Franck wrote:
Nobody should've been singing that song in the first place. In fact, this song shouldn't even exist.

that freddy mercury tribute where axl sang bohemian rhapsody was one of the truly awful moments in music history.Sascha Franck wrote:Don't even get me started on Axl Rose.ross g wrote: never heard it, but i've heard "knockin' on heaven's door"...with that typical over the top cliched "rock 'n roll" axel rose screech delivery, and if i remember correctly, the obligatory audience sing along.....not so good, not so good at all....
