Yes, I like(d) their music very much, too. But wasn´t the singer´s english pronounciation awful?

Oh, yes, sometimes he was so generous to talk german though,
I've seen a gig by them where Frank B., the singer greeted all with the following words" Ich habe heute morgen die Sonnenröte umarmt" (translated ca. "This morning I embraced the break of dawn"
Symphony Nr.1
Meet the Cities Repair Team Unimportant laughter
music has become meaningless...we just keep doing it

Next month´s theme proposal: How about a John Lennon tribute because of his 65th birthday on 09. Oct.?

Actually that was part of why I liked them. I like accents. I even like some bad translations of lyrics into English (like Sensations Fix did). Some of my favorite Kraftwerk is where they blend German and English (the US release of Radioactivity for example). Much prefer that over someone like Dylan who faked an accient just to emulate his hero.

Two things have kept me from even jumping into reviewing here in the first place (well three if you count the noise); the first and way more important one that some ghosts came out of the closet (I think too much and bottle it all up )
The other being that in the past week all my music time went to finishing a few collabs and tracks and still there's plenty waiting for me to finish

It were the comments of knockman and George that huddled in waves of guilt for not paying much attention to this months dedicational month, let alone start reviewing
knockman wrote:primordial soup - a nourishment that triggers the synthesis of life.
george wrote:modestly sublime composition showed great respect, passion, even purity of sound.
Thank you both :D

There is still a little time left, so who knows

Speaking of collabs - I've been meaning to say for a while that I'd be interested in trying a collab for a while now, so if anyone's interested don't hesitate to pm me. I'd especially be interested in working with a guitarist seeing as I don't play that myself and I love the sound.

Edit: wow, I've already had two pms in about 5 mins so I'm closing my invitation for now... At least, feel free to contact me for collaborations, but Im just not sure Ill have the time... :-)

Nice squidgy organic sounds. I'm not sure you needed the guitar. Maybe the same chords on a ringing pad and a sine lead? I don't know, this is all taste. I like the melancholic mood anyhow.

Thanks, Aldred.
I don't agree though. You've got it backwards. If I were to ditch something from my setup, I'd lose the fake synths and computers WAY before guitar. :)
Squidgy and organic are not words often used on KvR about the Reason Subtractor, btw. Thanks.

Sure does.
I really like your track, btw.
Nice, yet disturbing.

The theremin sound does it every time. I was watching the movie 'The Machinist' last night and there it is again, doing a great job as usual.

i don't know if he'll feel scared or honoured, but when i stated, in my submission post,

"this is also an hommage to one of you"

i was refering to:

(suspense)

respirator !

it wasn't planned, TBH. it's just that the result is close to what i like so much in his music (particularly his older stuff).

can you guess who the mystery voice is though?... ;)

Ben
the MOOO voice? i guessed it was you. if it's not, i'll have to hear it again.
It's not me... but it is a KVR member... :hihi:

Ben
Oh he's very butch!
It's not remco either..
just to narrow it down slightly... it is a stateside kvr member :hihi:

BTW... cheers for the reviews.. :D

Ben

errr... and that probably is pitch correction you can hear at the end...

there was a little bit of the "cher" effect added on remco's voice... ;)

Excellent. Airy and spacious but never loses its shape. And nice when it picks up at the 2:15 point.
Thanks so much Aldred! :D

Cheers,
Gordon
