i think in my final email (typo - femail - lol) they said that since the target was reached they will accept for a few more days. it would be useful to spread this information if it happens to be true.

I, too, recall them saying people have a few more days to get the good price. I agree it needs to be publicized. We'll hit 1,000 for sure if enough people know about it.

Okay, so I went ahead and bought Camel, the banks, Phat, and Space. Before I did, I tried the demos. It was pretty cool at first, but it gets real frustrating after a few minutes, I guess because the demos start acting funny on purpose.

The demos don't save their settings, and they have a period of 1.5 secs silence every 40 secs. If you are experiencing anything other than that, then drop us an email and we'll look into it.I guess because the demos start acting funny on purpose.
Various people have had issues with signing up, so Jeremy was keen to allow those people who've been having problems a little more time. He put the following up on the page:is the group buy over or not???
I'm not sure when hes going to freeze the graph, but if we make it to 1000 I will honour the video tutorial promise. As a favor to everyone who heard about the group buy late or had any trouble signing up we will continue to accept signups for a few more days, payment information will be emailed immediately after signup.
Thanks
Ben

I only count 184 presets total for CamelSpace among banks A, B, and C. A has 64, B has 64, and C has 56. Is this correct, or am I missing something? There are in fact currently banks A, B and C for both plugins (total of 196 presets).
Also, is version 1.15 the most recent version of CamelSpace?

Ben, is it normal behavior, that randomize only randomizes the first pattern?
Even if I select a different pattern, it still only randomizes the first one, and leaves the currently selected untouched.
I guess I can work around this by copy/pasting the randomized pattern to the consequent slots, but have you given this any thought?
Wonderful effect, either way. Cheers.

I agree it would be better if it randomized the other patterns too. I will bear this in mind for future updates.Ben, is it normal behavior, that randomize only randomizes the first pattern?

Using a b'n'b preset as a starting point, I'm able to make sounds become lusher and thicker and have more presence and movement.
This is very useful when one of the sounds inside a mix needs more oomph, but not more volume, or 2,500-4,000khz type presence.
CamelSpace is very effective here.
So yes, I like it for the trance gates and the riddims (which is why I bought it), but the more I use it, the more I find CamelSpace is good for making "straight sounds" feel juicier.
YEAH...glad I am getting some good feedback here on my bread and butter bank. To be very honest, I mostly use these types of presets in my own stuff, as the presets I use on the synth are already Out there, and just need some Buttering up
also, heres a story: a while ago ( was it 2 years ago?) Ben just put out a new rev of Cameleon with a MUCH BETTER reverb algorithm. It was superb. At that time, I sugged he should take the effects section of cameleon and make it a seperate plugin. After a while, he sent me a real alpha version..the knobs actually used the ones in cameleon. It as quite cool. I used it quite a bit on my stuff just for bread and butter..chorus, great delay and reverb.I also installed it on my Receptor. Then for some reason, my receptor went out( the HD) and the musers took my unit and replaced the HD, but I guess they took all my plugins on my unit and had a look at them. CamelSpace was on there and got a mail from them saying.."wow..what a great plugin!" They were impressed even at that stage! ( and to Bens detriment, showed it to Ben installed on thier show receptor at a NAMM show before the real version of CS was released..sorry ben!!But must have produced a good laugh
anyway..it was great seeing how this plugin developed from just the effects on cameleon to a full blown all in one effects plugins good for just about anything you can throw at it.
anyway: thanks for the comments on the B&B bank. I bet ben would love some user presets based on these, or even the far out ones.

I think you pointed the way with the bnb bank, Tim
CSpace gets into so many more tracks now. I like the GUI's clean smart look, and the uncluttered easy-to-work-with interface.
And having a smaller number of big buttons that make an immediate sonic difference is so much better, than lots of showy-offy buttons whose impact can hardly be heard (no names mentioned here, but you know ...)
Maybe I'm on my own with this, but whenever I'm writing (which is often) my heart sinks every time I have to dig too deep into a plug for more than a few minutes.
I know that:
a) Having so many choices/options/buttons will make it really hard to make a sonic choice (blue?pink?green? aarrgghh?)
b) I'll quite possibly lose the inspiration of song I'm working on, as writing is all about feel and mood (more aarrgghh!!).
The CSpace "big-button" approach makes it so much easier for a simpleton like me.
I'm so happy that now I'd like to see CSpace develop into a more fully fledged fx unit. How aboutyou?
Luxonix tried it with the free Ravity multiFX unit, but obviously CSpace has a lot more going for it.
So thanx, Tim (yet again), and Ben - what's the story?
Will CSpace ever become even more of an FX unit?
(Think now - it's winter coming up in Edinburgh so you got to stay indoors anyhow
)
