While WaveArts releasing this time there new overhauled plugins, I tested against VintageWarmer and Mastercomp and was very suprised :o
MultiDynamics 5 (vintage mode, only used 3 bands, 3ms attack, 100ms release, threshold about 5db under every bands peaks) and the FinalPlug 5 as the brickwall limiter at the end, brings better results as VW or MasterComp.

There are full functional 30 day demos (without any restrictions!) on http://wavearts.com (for this time released MultiDynamics 5 and FinalPlug 5).

Would be interested what others think about it?

VW is a multiband limiter rather than a compressor

VW its "a single or multi band compressor/limiter". The compressor has 3 bands, 1 of this is static. The Brickwall Limiter can be turned off(?) (with a knee >0%?)

This can be build with a chain of a multibandcompressor (with 3 bands activated) and following an Brickwall Limiter. The tape saturation effect is another story ;)

I have PowerSuite 5

It's definitely awesome. FinalPlug 5 is pretty damn transparent. I doubt it's as good as Elephant or L3, but for what it is, I'm pretty damn impressed, as I've been using it alot

I absolutely love MultiDynamics 5 to death.  But I loved it as version 4. Version 5 is just a some little tweaks. but my favorite thing is just the GUI. It's absolutely purdy to look at now

MultiDynamics is awesome.. Six band Compressor, Gate, and Expander in one! There isn't a sonic problem that can't be fixed with that powerhouse combo.

God... I can't wait for TrackPlug 5! OCTOBER 2005 CAN'T COME SOON ENOUGH! ARGH!

But comparing PSP to WaveArts is apples to oranges. It's not exactly a fair contest. We all know that WaveArts will always piss all over PSP. :hihi:
