Free Bell Ride?

I am looking for a free ride cymbal sound that has a bell-like tone. I think I have heard it in Aerosmith's Sweet Emotion.
By the way, I have GPO, DKFH 2, DR-008 that came with an earlier version of Sonar (no upgrade to all the kits, though). I can play Giga 2.5 version (through the unreleased beta version of sfz+) or Kontakt 2 and, of course, sf2's.
Thanks.

Hmmm. I started looking at these. Do they have the type of ride cymbals that sounds sort of like a bell (I apologize for my ignorance of the proper name for ths type of cymbal)?bduffy wrote:Check out

On first look, it was not clear to me.

The bell is, in fact, the Ride Cymbal played at the very top crest of the cymbal - which looks and sounds like a "bell", so you'll see most sample sets referring to this specifically as the "Bell" or "ride Bell". You can really bring out the bell with EQ/Compression. I was pointing you to some free, hi-quality samples of drumkits which should include that specific sound - plus you get some great kits for tracking!jeffn1 wrote:Hmmm. I started looking at these. If you want some simpler options, you can cruise through all the drum soundfonts at www.hammmersound.net , if you want just that specific sound; smaller downloads.
