Hey guys,
I’m having trouble with Cubase SX3 and my plugins. It seems that the presets for the plugins are getting reset to their default at the beginning of each loop. I am trying to play the tracks and go through and audition different presets to see how they sound. I finally, fine one, and then go to listen again, and they are back to there default. Currently I am having this problem with Z3ta+, Korg Legacy Collection, and NI Komplete stuff.
What am I doing wrong? Any ideas???

Sounds like there might be a program change at the start of the midi sequence. Go to the MIDI menu, then to Open List Editor. Now look for a Program Change event in the left hand column. If there is one or more Program Change events, that is where things are being reset. Delete these Program Change lines and you should be able to change and audition presets like you want.VoodooDoctor wrote:Hey guys,

That fixed it. i didnt have this problem till like 2 nights ago, not sure how i did it, but deleting the program change is the soltion.

btw what do you think on SX3......?? i own it and i'm not so in with the product. I've had more problems with SX3 than any other version (i went from 1.6 to 3). with version 1.6 i had no problems for two years

hahah... yeah weid shi*t defintly happens. not that the question was directed to me.. but.. .i have to say that Abelton Live is much simpler then SX. but i feel that once masted you can do anythign with cubase. it is extremly fleixble, but with that i feel like sometimes i am killing a fly with a tank.
