_what is Pink Ninja ?

Pink Ninja is an experimental audio slicer (as heard on Prefuse 73). It wont make great songs for you but will give you some non-rational picked slices to use in your compositions. It is able to slice your input in pieces (choosing random/or not) and save them for further use (load 'em in sampler etc) or it is able to slice the input and save the result as one wav file.

If I choose the "not" random feature for slicing, will it detect transients?

I guess it's a dumb question to ask... <chuckle> I should just try it. No matter what, it sounds like a fun tool.

Thats a big problem for me. :help:
Most of the things i download to try out are just collecting dust. There never seems to be enough time to try all the things you want to.

Thanks anyway!

Just had a quick go. I like it. Random results but very inspriring.

When you say "as heard on Prefuse 73", do you mean that Scott Herren has actually used Pink Ninja or simply that Pink Ninja imitates his sound?

Anyway, thanks for a fun tool.

"There never seems to be enough time
To do the things you want to do
Once you find them..."

Or something like that. Stirs some memories...
Jim Croce, anyone?

heh :) if you listen prefuse 73 you will agree - that man is a great musician - but sometime most of his loops and oneshots are not rationally choosed. that sort of randomness could be done by hand but sometimes you could ask this pink ninja to attack the soundwaves for you. :)

also i forgot an advice:
feed it with big songs :)
