I was also thinking of making a loophole rule where you can do a cover of Edgar Winter's "Frankenstein" or Alice Cooper's "Feed My Frankenstein". ;) Doubted there'd be any takers, though. :P

Good,

Because I have already started EW's Frakenstien, I've have DL'd many pieces of op's works, and with a little slice and dice. Presto.

Scoops
I have a really fast computer, some good mics, vintage musical instruments, and lots of fancy software. Just need some talent

This will be my first contest. Can't wait. I'm going to approach this with a procedure in mind, and then see how the results sound.

Looks like one of the prizes is a Star Wars stick-on!

Can I do a remix of "Frankenstein Goes to the Disco" by Billy Cobham and George Duke. Or does Jazz not count?

Really, I see this as a mix of a few contests we've done in the past: Found Sounds (Microphone), KVR Loops, and past Halloween entries. I think a lot of initially-hesitant people found they liked their experience on those in the end.
Yep, right now I am struggling to think of what I could achieve, other than some form of soundscapery. But it is all part of the challenge. Count me in!
Time is an illusion - lunchtime doubly so.

And as long as there´s no Receptor in the game...
Thanks for the flattery, but don't believe it. I don't claim to be any good at Frankenmusic, I just do it for fun. BTW, if anyone's interested, I posted something for last month's challenge...
Since noone else seems to be offering feedback......

I like it. You are right, I would never have recognised it as having come from the original sonograms/tracks - but it is a great track, excellently produced, as usual.

The competition is thinning out. A inclement premise scares away the larger creatures and leaves mostly scavengers competing for resources...
