No. Nuts however, that's a different story. Where do you stand on the burning issue of the day?

Another one for Eric Clapton.
Has been an innovator 35 years ago but didn't improve (or learn anything) since then.

I like some of their songs, A day in the life, Elanor Rigby, Yesterday and probrably a few others I cant remember right now. But taken as a whole I dont rate most of their stuff. Which means I think on average they are just a good band.
You gotta look at the big picture. Before Sgt Peppers an album was just your last few singles on a bigger piece of vinyl. The Beatles changed that forever. You shouldn't have to like all their songs to appreciate what they contributed to modern music. Same with the Sex Pistols and Nirvana. Sure, they may not have been the first but they were the bands that changed the entire music scene. And although its a little before my time the same could be said of Presley, or maybe Bill Haley & the Comets. Who knows?

Anyone find Rod Stewart good?
He cant be overrated, I cant give a finger to anyone I've ever met that thinks he's good?

Am I hanging around with the wrong (right?) crowd?

i don't quite understand what you're saying, but...

i like his work with the Faces quite a bit...the only record i have at the moment is Every Picture Tells a Story, which actually is released as a Rod Stewart record, not The Faces, although it is in all but name... it's the sound of the band playing together that i like, and Rod the Mod does a fine job as the singer in THAT band...i really wanna get some official Faces records where the band stretches out...i like that song at the end of the movie "Rushmore" that goes "i wish that i knew what i know now", it doesn't even sound like Rod singing, not sure what record it's from (maybe it's a Rod Wood record?)...i think Stewart got yucky with "Atlantic Crossing", but of course, that's when he ca$hed in....

and his work with the Jeff Beck Group is ok, they were supposed to be a great live band....

so yeah, i guess i like Rod Stewart, so give me the finger or whatever it is you are saying.....
