Yeah I know very well - I love the factory patches and esp. BlueDad's Epiano patches. But I still get turned around load samples to roll my own sounds. My attempts at "designing" anything useable from my samples always fail miserably. I have to go back through the tutorial againhey gordon, remember symptohm twists audio quite nicely too :whistles innocently and steps back into the shadows:

Actually since the song length is only 1 minute this time around, maybe the bandwidth could be upped to 192 kbps... I mean, wasn't the original intent of max length and bandwidth a concession to dial-up users and listeners so they wouldn't have to slog through gigabytes of downloads that took days to listen to? Seems like here's a chance to lift one restriction temporarily in a sensible way.

Well, not really. You™ wrote:You mean BitShift? I think we can make an exception in his case!
Ironically, I think his methodology is just fine and will allow it. If he gets to length and rate limits.

I looked in the rules, and it seems ALL the rules (including the one-minute one) are in the "SHOULD" category, which has previously been interpreted as "doesn't have to be"...
Maybe you should put a couple under "MUST" after all?
